Nike and Kobe Bryant are ending 2014 with a bang with the final release of the Nike Kobe 9 of 2014. Just announced, the Nike Kobe 9 High KRM EXT “Black Mamba” release date has been set for December 31, 2014 with a retail price of $275.
Kobe is a fan of high fashion including high fashion sneakers, but two problems – not many come in size 14 and almost all of them are terribly uncomfortable. Nike Sportswear went to work on the Nike Kobe 9 EXT series earlier this year with a mid cut version sporting a snakeskin embossed leather followed by a “Snakeskin” Kobe 9 High EXT that released on Black Friday.
The final two drops of the Kobe 9 High KRM EXT are the “Red Mamba” Kobe 9 that utilizes the same textured material found on the “Red October” Yeezy IIs and then this one, the “Black Mamba” Kobe 9 High KRM EXT. Around the ankle, the shoe sports a reptile embossed black premium leather while the front of the shoe goes all black scales reminiscent of what we saw on the Nike Zoom Kobe 6.
