N7 is Nike’s commitment to bring sport and all its benefits to Native American and Aboriginal communities and the N7 edition of the Nike Kyrie Low 4 pays homage to Irving’s Native American ancestry.
The upper consists of a multi-layered khaki ripstop textile for durability and breathability with a rubber wing overlay setup on the toebox laces for lockdown. On the back half of the sneaker, turquoise, yellow, and salmon stitching is underneath the top ripstop layer with a canyon gold Swoosh embroidered on the side.
The Kyrie 4 Low uses a half bootie construction, and salmon appears again on the sockliner with a leather N7 patch that runs down into the lace keeper. The patch also is inscribed with “Standing Rock Sioux Tribe”, which his late mother was a member of, and a graphic featuring a mountain range that represents “Little Mountain,” Kyrie’s Native American name bestowed on him by the Standing Rock Sioux.
Khaki is used again on the Cushlon midsole and the computational turquoise outsole that wraps up the lateral side. Zoom Air is utilized in the forefoot to bring more cushioning to the mix.
The Nike Kyrie Low 4 “N7” will be releasing on June 21 as part of Nike’s Summer N7 Collection but keep checking our Sneaker Release Dates page and social media channels for more information when it arrives.
