With “Uncle Drew” hitting theaters nationwide on Friday, Nike will appropriately be releasing on the same day the first low top version of Kyrie Irving‘s signature sneaker – the Nike Kyrie Low.
This low top iteration of Irving’s signature sneaker shares the same great tech from the Kyrie 4 as it has Zoom cushioning and a curved sole unit. What’s mainly different besides the lower silhouette is the placement of the Zoom cushioning.
On the Lows, the Zoom cushioning is bottom loaded instead of top-loaded like the Kyrie 4. Plus the Kyrie Low has heel and forefront cushioning as well. The outsole traction is also different as it takes a page from the Nike Kobe 10 with a more concentric system.
The first iteration of the Kyrie Low is the “Uncle Drew” version, which is named after the movie and features a grey upper with corresponding blue accents. A speckled midsole and gum rubber outsole completes the look.
Releasing on Friday June 29 for $115 look for the Nike Kyrie Low “Uncle Drew” to be available on Nike.com and other retailers.
