LeBron James, over the years, has made it clear that had he not jumped straight to the NBA from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio, he would have taken his talents to The Ohio State University. His allegiance to the institution has been widely felt throughout his career, both in his attendance at the university’s sporting events and his penchant to utilize their colors in his signature sneaker collection.

Today, via Twitter, the university debuts the Nike LeBron 15 “Buckeyes” edition. Largely of an all-red variety, red BattleKnit blankets the upper and corresponding midsole construction while suede tongue and heel tabs add to the silo’s premium onset. Black Swoosh branding marks the heel thus breaking the monotone aesthetic throughout much of this team-inspired LeBron 15.

As of the moment, there are no release details for the Ohio State Buckeyes 15s. Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for more.
