After the Cleveland Cavaliers opened the season with a win over the new look Boston Celtics led by former Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving, a game in which James almost netted his first triple double of the year with 29 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists, the King said he wasn’t happy with his play and that he was out of shape. Well, if his performance last night is what passes for out of shape these days, the rest of the league is in for it when he’s back in top form.
James’ box score, though, almost pales in comparison to the message he sent even before tip-off, as he debuted a new player exclusive iteration of the Nike LeBron 15.
Following the silhouette’s highly anticipated debut at select retailers earlier in the day in its “Ghost” edition, James took a formidable stand against injustice and bigotry with his Nike LeBron 15 “Equality” PE. The all-black BattleKnit constructed shoe featured “Equality” written across the heel in gold joined by a matching Swoosh.
Would you cop this LeBron 15 PE if they released? Take a closer look below and let us know.
