Today is NBA Media Day. Players around the league are reporting to their respective teams for the first time ahead of the official start to training camp. LeBron James, always among the first to report to camp, will begin his tour in Los Angeles as a Laker today. And while it’s unsure what will be on his feet, we’re almost certain it’ll be a pair of the budding Nike LeBron 16.

Following releases of the “Fresh Bred” and “1 Thru 5” aka “What the” pairs — and the limited edition Harlem Fashion Row collaboration — up next for the King and Nike comes the Nike LeBron 16 “20 20” edition. A reference to James’ masterful passing ability that works in tandem with his unmatched court vision, multicolored Battleknit 2.0 canvasses the upper alongside a Cool Grey tongue pressed by his lion and Dunkman logo.

The “20 20” moniker is a clever play on words; a double entendre of sorts. Simply its a reference to LeBron’s 20 20 vision. Yet from a second vantage, it can also be consumed to state that James can easily score 20 points and dish out 20 dimes on any given night.

Take a closer look at the Nike LeBron 16 “20 20” below and expect the release this October.
