Earlier this fall, Nike Basketball officially unveiled LeBron James’ newest signature, the LeBron 21.

Along with this upcoming “Akoya” colorway, nodding to his 8-year-old daughter, Zhuri, the LeBron 21 will also be dropping in a “Conchiolin” scheme inspired by protein-fortifying mollusk shells.

The Nike LeBron 21 “Conchiolin” is constructed from lightweight materials and features a venting system in the upper as well as a white pearlescent shell-like design to help contain the player during explosive movements. Lightweight black mono-mesh reinforced by 360 degrees of zonal cables is spotlighted around the midfoot, which also helps to support and secure the player over the footbed. Perforations on the medial Swoosh logos provide enhanced breathability.

Down below, the LeBron 21 is equipped with a black and white Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot and a bottom-loaded, 13-millimeter Zoom unit to support propulsion. A full-length Cushlon 2.0 foam carrier for a pillowy feel and a TPU midfoot shank provide stability and extra pop for dynamic movements.

Interested readers can purchase the Nike LeBron James 21 “Conchiolin” when it releases on December 19 via Nike.com and select retailers. The pair will retail for $200. Keep it locked to our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar for updates.
