Variations within the Nike LeBron series continue to grow more intriguing, as we take a first look today at the Nike LeBron Ambassador 8 “Oreo” edition.

A nice deviation (if only for a moment) from the stellar Nike LeBron 13, the Ambassador 8 “Oreo” plays with a time-honored color scheme noted in the Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand lineage. But more importantly, the design breaks new ground aesthetically.

Heel cage construction is forceful at the rear, while Zoom implementation aids the outsole greatly. More notably here is the heightened heel support, though. Atop a Hyperfuse base and Flywire technology, the slip-like opening is dripping with Nike Basketball heritage.
