Following news earlier today that LeBron James, in partnership with Maverick Carter, is developing a single-camera HBO comedy show surrounding a sneaker shop, later reports circling LeBron James’ signature sneaker collection are all to fitting. The Nike LeBron Soldier 11, primarily James’ postseason shoe, in its latest colorway takes inspiration from the most famous Air Max 97 OG.
The “Silver Bullets,” originally released back in ’97, returned this year in celebration of the silhouette’s 20th anniversary. The palette also impressed upon Nike to don other styles in its signature silver and red makeup, a grouping that now includes the Soldier 11.
James’ line has often been a canvas for Air Max models to shed their traditional silo and opt for his instead. If you remember, the LeBron 12 Low “AM95” borrowed elements from the Air Max 95. The Nike LeBron Soldier 11 “Silver Bullet” does much of the same, yet without altering the shoe’s construction.
No release details for the shoe are currently available. Stay tuned.
