Over the past couple of months, we’ve continually seen Nike’s gear and sneakers for the upcoming World Cup. What we haven’t seen until now is a shoe actually displaying the host country’s name. This Nike Lunar Chukka Woven changes that, as “South Africa” is sewn right in prime viewing space.
Following the “True Colors” Pack, this is the fourth colorway of this sneaker to release in the past few weeks. A white Lunarlite sole is used on this pair, making them the most simple of all four. Black suede strips are woven together to make the upper, while leather appears on the heel and midfoot. Because of their colors and general shape, you may confuse these with the Lunar Rejuven8 Mid that Mister Cartoon designed for Team USA. Korea’s Kasina is now stocking these, but be on the lookout for them to come stateside soon.
