The runner from 2004 realized Bill Bowerman?s dream of creating a running shoe that would be light enough and supportive enough to last through a race but fall apart afterward. Trumping Lunar technology the Mayfly weighs in at only 4.8 ounces and has a recommended lifespan of 62 miles. The shoe is synonymous for its funky orange upper and progressive design. They are available now at the Nike Store for a lightweight price of $45.
