At every step of every level he’s played on, dating back to his Tacoma, Washington childhood, to his prep school days at South Kent School in the middle of nowhere in Connecticut, to even still on the NBA’s biggest stage as an All-Star, Isaiah Thomas has been used to being doubted.

“My whole life I’ve always been counted out,” Thomas reflects. “Just cause I was the smallest guy on the court.”

In its latest “Come Out Of Nowhere” series, Nike chronicles Thomas’ rise through the ranks, as he worked to beat the “Mr. Irrelevant” stigma of being the very last pick of the 2011 NBA Draft, all the way to his current status as the franchise point guard of the Boston Celtics.
