Following the debut of the Nike Air Span I back in 1988, the shoe’s success warranted a sequel in 1990-91. The Air Span II was equally triumphant in its cross training abilities, yet Nike didn’t see fit to retro the model in the 2000’s nor in recent years.
The Air Span II retro will finally see its day, as Nike recently and very quietly brought back the revered ’90s style. Returning in an OG colorway, this one appears in a white base with black leather overlays and hints of blue and grey. It’s clear that the Air Span II is aesthetically likened to the Air Stab, this colorway especially.
