Nike has announced the Nike Refurbished program as the brand continues to find new ways to pus sustainability within the sneaker game.
Nike Refurbished is Nike’s latest fully circular consumer offering, taking gently worn, like-new or slightly imperfect footwear, refurbishing them by hand, and extending access to this authentic Nike product at a value for consumers in select Nike stores.
Through an integrated pipeline of second-life Nike product, the brand keeping is footwear on the feet of athletes, inspiring them to take collective action and creating a new pathway to sport; ultimately enabling innovative new supply chain capabilities that extend the life and wear of Nike product.
Up to fifteen U.S.-based stores will carry Nike Refurbished footwear by the end of April 2021, with plans to integrate more of this product at additional U.S.-based stores in the coming year.
Consumers can expect an assortment of both Men’s and Women’s footwear, with new opportunities to discover a cross- category lineup of performance and lifestyle product (including from our Vapormax, Air Max and React family of footwear) at their Nike store.
Below is a breakdown of how the program works.
