Although everybody is impatiently anticipating the 2010 World Cup, another prestigious sporting event is set to kick off soon. The 2010 French Open Tennis Tournament begins this upcoming Sunday, May 23rd, 2010 and will feature the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal among others. We have just spotted photos of the sneakers both will be wearing during the French Open.
Nike will bless Rafael Nadal with this Nike Air Court Ballistic 2.3 shown above. This particular is undoubtedly designed for the tennis game as it possesses a flexible DragOnX upper for extreme speed, comfort and mobility. As for the colorway, it features a mainly grey ballistic mesh base with multiple hints of green throughout the side panel infrastructure, on the toe cap and on the tongue. Other features include a blue swoosh and a white mesh collar. Federer’s French Open sneakers will come in the form of the Nike Lunarlite Vapor Tour. This sneaker contains Flywire technology much like many Nike releases these days. It also owns a cushioned Lunarlite midsole for extra traction and stability. Who else is reminded of Kobe Bryant’s last two signature sneaker when looking at the Nike Lunarlite Vapor Tour? Its colorway consists of dark obsidian and white with minimal hints of a lighter blue throughout the upper. View additional photos below.
