The momentum of Sabrina Ionescu‘s Nike Sabrina 2 continues as the New York Liberty guard debuted the Nike Sabrina 2 “Gold Medal” PE as Team USA bested France at the 2024 Paris Olympics to secure its eighth consecutive gold medal.
The Sabrina 2 debuted earlier this year and doubles down on the impact that the Sabrina 1 left as a go-to hoop shoe for the now & next generations of basketball athletes —regardless of gender.
The Nike Sabrina 2 “Gold Medal” PE is built with a predominantly patriotic red upper with a split midsole/outsole combination of navy & red, drawing similarities to the “United” Nike Sabrina 2 colorway that released in early August. The difference was decadent as golden metallic donned the Swoosh and “S” logo on the tongue, making it perfect for the Olympic champion.
As of now, the pair isn’t expected to have a retail release and will remain a Player Exclusive (PE) for Ionescu.
