The SB Dunk has been a staple of the sneaker game for some time, and though many purists believe it fell off in recent years, Nike looks poised to strengthen the silhouette’s presence again. Having seen releases including the controversial Todd Bratrud “Skunk” Dunk in recent weeks, will this May release sneaker work with or against SB’s efforts? Using traditional color blocking methods, black nubuck can be found on the toe, midfoot, heel foxing and Swoosh. Matching those elements are the outsole and liner. Purple leather fills out the gaps left in the upper, while a white midsole and laces serve to brighten the dark build.
