While the recent run of Nike SB Dunks we’ve seen have been pretty simple, these samples just jumped onto the scene, and are anything but. Black suede covers the heel and midfoot areas. On the toe, the fabric uses dimples that protrude off the surface. A similar design is used on the liner’s much softer fabric. Black large-hole mesh is stretched over 3M on the toe box and mid-panel. Leather is in place on the Swoosh. SB purists probably immediately noticed that the fat tongue is in use on this pair. On the heel panel a wooden cask, complete with tap, is branded into the nubuck, but no explanation has been given yet as to its significance. |
