This year The Wizard of Oz celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. On deck for Nike SB is an unofficial tribute to the main protagonist, Dorthy Gale.
Nike SB pays tribute to the character known in pop-culture for her unique footwear choices with something more than just all red slippers. The shoes feature her gingham dress through the shoe’s lining, a gradient upper that represents the storm that brought her to the Land of Oz, and of course the red shoe laces to pay homage to her “Ruby Red” shoes.
No word yet on when these will be coming out, but stay tuned to Nice Kicks and remember that there is no place like home.
