It looks as though the Nike SB Dunk Low “Chirping Bird” will actually release in the States, as the special edition SB is set for a February QS release. As of right now, it looks as though the U.S. version will feature the chirping electronic piece in the tongue, while international releases will not. The upside or downside of that is a matter of opinion though, as it created quite a controversy when we saw the video linked above. As for this Nike SB Dunk‘s construction, black denim is used to cover almost every panel, with the exception of the Swoosh, which uses matching patent leather, and the heel tab, which is done in white. Red is obviously the accent color of choice, as it appears on the outsole, tongue tab, and heel labeling. |
