| The birth of the boing, the future of flight, the Nike Shox BB4 originally released back in 2000. To the delight of many Shox fans and Vince Carter fans, the Nike Shox BB4 will be getting the retro treatment in the original Black/Metallic Silver-Lapis colorway. Like so many recent Nike gems, this OG colorway will be released exclusively through the Foot Locker House of Hoops.
The Nike Shox BB4 was the first basketball shoe to feature Shox cushioning and released at the same time as the popular Shox R4 runner. A breakthrough in technology, the Shox BB4 was considered at the time to be one of the greatest performance shoes to date thanks to its use of Shox and Monkey Paw technology. Responsive, lightweight, and well cushioned, the BB4 was a favorite amongst hoopers of all positions.
