This year, we have spotted a plethora of Air Pegasus ’89 colorways in honor of the shoe’s 20th year anniversary. 1989 was also the year that the Berlin Wall fell. Therefore, Nike Sportswear will top off all of the 2009-released Air Pegasus ’89s with one that is inspired by the fall of the Berlin Wall.

This shoe features distinctive designs that pertain to the Berlin Wall. For example, the splatter design on the swoosh represents the broken concrete of the wall after the Germans took it down reuniting their nation. In addition, the heel tab, insole and the debray all reads Berlin 89. As for the colorway, this shoe combines multiple shades of grey with matte silver, black and purple. Available now at Schuh-You.
