In case you visited Nike’s online shop yesterday, you may have noticed that Missy Miller’s Nike Free 5.0 and Alejandro Munoz’s Nike Air Penny from this year’s Doernbecher Freestyle Collection accidentally released ahead of their projected drop date. While both previously mentioned kicks were originally scheduled to release on November 23rd, Nike pushed their release date back to December 6th. A seemingly big mistake on the Swoosh’s part, any and all orders that were placed have subsequently been cancelled. Having ticked off the internet with this latest blunder, sneakerheads can expect to see both of these drops release this Saturday. Promising to make good on the error, how do you feel about this mishap? Drop us a line with your thoughts in the comments section below.
The Doernbecher Air Max Penny & Free 5.0 mistakenly launched today. To be fair, we’ve canceled orders & will launch as planned 12/6.
