The DiamondFLX sole is one of the defining characteristics of the Nike Trainer 1. With its high level of flexibility and light weight, it was the favorite aspect of the shoe to many athletes and sneakerheads. Still, many people yearn for the cushioning and support of an Air Max sole. To oblige both parties, Nike iD has added the Trainer 1 Unleashed Mid and Low to its repertoire with the option to utilize the Max Air 360 bag from the Air Max 2009.
Like we’re used to seeing with Nike iD products, a plethora of colors is available for each and every panel. Beyond just the colors, this silhouette may have been privileged to the largest palette of options for the actual construction of the shoe. As mentioned above, two sole options are available, but you also have the option to add a forefoot strap to your custom shoes just over the lowest lace loop. For nearly a decade, shoes have been able to be personalized with colors and additional touches, but allowing such dramatic structural changes should take the iD platform to a new level. With so many options, you’re bound to be able to put together something you like. Click here to design your own.
