Designed for ultimate lateral quickness, the new Nike Vapor HyperAgility Cleat takes cutting to the next level. Working with gold medal sprinter Michael Johnson to better understand what athletes need for lateral agility in the shuttle drill, Nike used its 3D printing technology to construct the HyperAgility, which offers optimal traction on turf, reduced deceleration time, and both linear and lateral speed. The cleat’s upper uses dynamic Flywire cables, each hand threaded through the frame plate under the foot to provide maximm lockdown and prevent any slippage, while a mid-cut provides a closer fit around the ankle collar and protection from studs. Seen below are the Vapor HyperAgility for lateral performance, the Nike Vapor Laser Talon for linear speed, and the the Nike Vapor Carbon II built for 360 degree gameday speed. Tell us which design is your favorite in the comment section, and find out more about the three speed demons here.
