One of the more intricate Nike Roshe Runs to date, the WMNS “Midnight Craftwork” takes the simplistic silhouette and adds major detailing. Japanese artist Yuko Kanatani uses the Roshe as a blank canvas and paints a personal to create a unique piece. Using court purple as a base across the entire canvas and cloth upper, Kanatani’s touch is integrated in a multicolor design on the toe box and tongue, as well as the heel tab. A black outline Swoosh keeps the focus on the artwork, while a pure white outsole adds light contrast.
