Jun Takahashi’s long-tenured partnership with Nike persists into fall 2018 with a budding Zoom Fly SP collection. While previewed months ago, it has since been uncertain exactly when his towering Gyakusou label would release its latest and greatest Swoosh re-imagining.
Nike has confirmed today that the three-piece collection will release next week on October 4th. Featuring black, navy and royal iterations, Takahashi’s artistic direction centers around materials as the design circles a stretch-woven upper. In part, translucent details reshape the body of the shoe which famously hovers above Lunarlon foam cushioning.
True to form, Gyakusou’s crossbones are present at the design’s heel. Further branding marks the aforementioned foam tooling. A detailed look at the Nike Zoom Fly SP Gyakusou is offered below. Limited pairs will be available next week at select retailers and Nike.com. Pricing has not been announced.
