Before the release of the KD II, Kevin Durant helped sell the Nike Hyperize as “Velvet Hoop,” so it’s no surprise last year’s breakout superstar has been wearing the Zoom Hyperfuse for FIBA and early NBA play instead of his own signature model. When the Thunder made its 201o-2011 debut last night, KD wore this special PE designed just for him.?White Hyperfuse and mesh cover most of the upper, while bright blue is utilized on the outsole and collar. Seen on the ankle is Durant’s KD logo and?a bright orange Swoosh completes the Oklahoma City-inspired colorway.
