Nike and the reigning NBA MVP will continue to celebrate breakthrough innovation with the launch of two limited edition Zoom Kobe IV shoes – the Zoom Kobe IV ???Special Edition??? and the Zoom Kobe IV ???Carpe Diem???.
With inspiration from Kobe???s favorite 2008 movie, the Zoom Kobe IV ???Special Edition??? distinct colorway combines with the low-cut design and Nike???s patented flywire technology, which helps make this the lightest basketball shoe ever at 11.6 ounces.
The Zoom Kobe IV ???Carpe Diem??? is inspired by Kobe???s mantra of living every day and playing every game to its fullest. The predominately black shoe also features the traditional yellow and purple colors of the LA Lakers. In addition, an Ox silhouette flanked by 97 and 09, in honor of the Chinese Year of The Ox, is displayed on the tongue of the shoe.
