Nike Zoom Kobe VI ?Rice?

Few high school basketball teams are treated better than the one at Rice High School in New York, where the players are given their own special colorway of Kobe Bryant’s signature shoe every year. For the current hoops season, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI is the chosen silhouette. Seen here for the first time, this shoe’s upper shows off a black and Metallic Gold iridescent reptilian upper with a similarly styled heel cup. This shoe is the first we’ve seen to utilize the reptilian upper on the heel area and a black midsole and semi-translucent outsole provide support on the underside. Look for these to land at retailers in 2011.
