As if Kobe Bryant’s legacy wasn’t enough of a sore subject for the Charlotte GM who drafted and promptly traded him, Nike continues to release Hornets-esque colorways of the Black Mamba’s shoes. The Zoom Kobe VI will be the next to sport the purple and Orion Blue combination, though it doesn’t appear as though it will bear the June 26, 1996 NBA Draft date. It may not officially be a “Draft Day” sneaker, but it’s hard to debate the inspiration for this sneaker. Expect it to land in stores on May 26th.
