New York, New York: The Emergence of “Revis Island”
After several years of remaining under-the-radar, the ascension of Darrelle Revis began to develop under Rex Ryan and his coaching staff. Eventually earning the moniker of “Revis Island”, Darrelle Revis would regularly take away the opposing team’s best wide receiver and limit their production substantially. Some of the players that had limited success against Revis included the likes of Randy Moss, Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson.
