The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Sashiko” Nods to Japanese Traditional Stitching

For Spring 2024, Nike will continue to roll out new colorways of its retro-inspired Zoon Vomero 5 silhouette.

Set to drop for the new season will be this “Sashiko” outfit boasting hues of sail, light orewood brown, light bone, baroque brown, russet, and pale vanilla. In terms of construction, the pair upgrades its usual breathable mesh upper with leather, suede, and canvas. The transitional offering additionally sports a sashiko-patterned collar paying homage to traditional Japanese stitching.

The pair is further elevated with reflective 3M detailing throughout, as well as the Bill Bowerman motifs on the insoles. Down below is a cushioned rubber sole with Zoom Air technology.
