Two titans collide to create the new NikeCourt Zoom Vapor AJ3 by Jordan. Sport superstars Michael Jordan and Roger Federer have been connected by legendary designer Tinker Hatfield on a special sneaker that bridges the gap between two different courts. MJ was one of RF’s idols growing up, and with a very similar competitively fierce edge, the two have turned into legends of their respective sports. This marks first performance tennis collaboration from NikeCourt, a new subsidiary of Nike Tennis, which uses two of Tinker’s designs. Ready for its debut tonight when Federer takes the court at the the US Open, Jordan’s iconic Air Jordan 3 takes over Federer’s current Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 to create an epic mashup model that knows nothing but winning ways. The shoe itself features all of the famous aesthetics from the OG White/Cement Air Jordan 3, down to the ’88 “Nike Air” on the heels, integrated into the shape and performance structure of the Vapor 9.5 to create an on-court shoe with off-court style.

Watch for the NikeCourt Zoom Vapor AJ3 by Jordan to make history on Roger Federer’s feet tonight in the US Open at 6 EDT, and score a pair for yourself when they make a limited edition release on August 27th at North America NikeLab destinations, Niketown NY, Flight 23, and online at Nike Store.
