In recent months, Nike has seen six of its top executives leave the company. While there was certainly speculation over the numerous high-level departures, The New York Times has dug into the root of the issue.

Following an internal survey of female employees at Nike, it became apparent that there were many cases of both sexual harassment and gender discrimination. Sadly, like many other cases in the #MeToo movement, a number of incidents were brought up previously during the time of occurrence to the human resources department with significant action or change not occurring.
