Nike has offered retro shoes and apparel for quite a few years, but commercials? Yep, that too.
In early 1997, Nike released a series of TV spots the featured Nike athletes for then the fastest system in the Nike arsenal – Zoom Air. The series featured Olympic Gold Medalists Gail Devers and Michael Johnson, NBA All-Star Gary Payton, and American League base-stealing champ Kenny Lofton to promote Zoom Air across various sports categories.

Recently revived for their VaporFly 4% launch with the likes of Lena Waithe, Shalene Flanagan, Draymond Green, Sean Wotherspoon, Richard Sherman, Paul Rodriguez and more starring, the new clip is just another example of the Swoosh tapping into nostalgia while making the most of modern talent.
