The Nike LeBron 7 received the retro treatment in 2019 as the revolutionary shoe from The King holds its importance today as much as it did ten years ago. In 2009, Jason Petrie designed the LeBron 7 with an exposed full-length Air Max unit engineered for the expectations for the basketball court. The Nike LeBron 7 changed the game outside of the court thanks to its aesthetic and comfort that translated to the streets making the Bron 7 as a lifestyle option.
The Nike LeBron 7’s latest chapter as a member of the retro series inspired releases in classic colorways, unreleased PEs, and even a new colorway to honor King James and his latest team with the Nike LeBron 7 “Media Day” inspired by the Lakers. Another colorway from the 2009-2010 season is on its way as the Nike LeBron 7 “MVP” is set to arrive in June.
The pair diverted away from the typical Flywire construction as a quilted panel dressed the shoe up in a luxurious fashion perfectly fit for a king. The colorway bodes a white, maroon, and gold accents in honor of his Cavalier days.
