Austin-based skateshop No Comply is celebrating its 15th anniversary and has teamed up with Vans for the 3rd time for a collaborative collection paying homage and inspired by the late Daniel Johnston, a visual artist who made Austin his home.
The collection features the Vans Half Cab, Grosso Mid, and Slip-On Trek with each respective pair featuring Johnston’s artwork placed throughout the sneaker. A portion of the sales will benefit the “Hi, How Are You Project” and its mission to encourage open conversations about mental health.
The No Comply x Vans Collection is set to drop as an experience and pop up at The Contemporary Austin – Jones Center from March 19th to March 20th with an online release on nocomplyatx.com on March 20th. Select Vans skate shops will release the collection on March 24th.
