Two of Tokyo’s biggest streetwear imprints nonnative and WACKO MARIA are, for the first time, joining forces to inject their aesthetics into two Converse All Stars.
Releasing in two different color schemes, the first nonnative x WACKO MARIA x Converse All Star Hi option features a predominantly black canvas construction paired with a signature white midsole. On the other hand, the second colorway is done up in white canvas with a spotted leopard print inner liner, a detail of WACKO MARIA.
Both iterations showcase signature embellishments from both nonnative and WACKO MARIA including a military-boot-inspired zipper and reinforced medial eyelets. Both of the Japanese brands’ logos are spotlighted on the back of the tongues, while Converse’s motif adorns the ankle. Below, the vulcanized sole wraps over “REACT” cup-insoles for upgraded cushioning.
Interested readers can pick up the nonnative x WACKO MARIA x Converse All Star Hi when it releases exclusively this December 18 at 11 a.m. JST (December 17, 9 p.m. EST) via COVERCHORD (international) and WACKO MARIA (Japan exclusive). Each pair retails for ¥18,000 JPY (approximately $160 USD). For more upcoming drops, check out our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar.
