Where to buy notwoways "Saphfire"

One of the newest sneaker labels in the game, notwoways brings back their OG sneaker in an eye-catching “Saphfire” colorway. This silhouette was first stylized in “Exuberance” and proved to be a successful sell-out sneaker. Since then, notwoways has followed up with an “Afterdark” release in a new silhouette, but this is the first time since their initial release that they’ve brought back the OG sneaker.

Notwoways takes curation to another level with their approach to design. Rather than just average trend forecasting, the London-based brand sought out empirical data that allowed them to create a sneaker that was molded by collective disposition. Dating back to January, notwoways‘ Creative Director, Rockwell Princely, and Founder, Callum McGinley, began seeding 14 different variations of the “Saphfire” colorway to their online audience. From there, they were able to collect over 3.5k responses that worked to influence the final version of the “Saphfire” colorway.

There’s a bit of madness to their method, but there’s no denying that the end-result was worth it. The shades of vibrant “Coastal Blue,” “Sapphire,” and “Ice Blue” create a futuristic colorway. The upper is made with luxe materials of nubuck and suede in bright “Notwoways Orange.” This sneaker also uses sustainable materials from recycled plastic bottles used to make the midsole and shoelaces made from recycled fishing nets.

The notwoways “Saphfire” is set to release on November 1, 2021 at 6pm GMT. The price is set at £100. The sneakers will be available to purchase from the notwoways webstore. The brand is also doing an early access draw from Thursday, October 21 to Saturday, October 23. Be sure to check out the notwoways Instagram for more details on that.
