Number (N)ine for Converse

Takahiro Miyashita’s Number (N)ine label took creative license with two different Converse models and came up with this collection, which is set to release on March 13th. Modifying both a One Star and Chuck Taylor All Star, Number (N)ine’s efforts resulted in some very unique creations.

The yellow shoe started life as a One Star ’74 and has been dressed in yellow and sits on a white sole. The other shoe displays a light grey color and the same sole. Both use asymmetrical lacing systems, which Takahiro borrowed from the Converse Odessa trainer, which he admired as a child. The full list of retailers selling this shoe can be seen here.
