New York’s own Obi Toppin shows love to his daughter, Remiel, with his new Air Jordan 37 Low “Girl Dad PE.” Also known as Remi, Toppin’s daughter was born in September 2021, just a year after he joined the Knicks. As the no. 8 draft pick in 2020, Toppin became the first player from his class to sign an endorsement deal with Jordan Brand.
Taking inspiration from Kobe Bryant’s “Girl Dad” wave, Toppin dedicates this Air Jordan 37 Low to his daughter with Bubblegum Pink hits on the laces, stitching, pull tab, and outsole. Pink also highlights other meaningful details like the Jumpman on the rear midsole and the “Remi” script on the inside of the tongue. The exterior of the sneaker is covered in Grey suede and has Gold accents on the aglets, Jumpman, and “#GirlDad” motif on the pull tab. For the perfect finishing touch, the sneaker is complete with a small pink bow on the base of the laces.
