Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t quite a Nike lifer in terms of contractual obligations, but he has been all about the Swoosh as far back as he can remember. The Louisiana native has worn Nike and Jordan Brand for as long as he could wear anything. He details his lifelong affinity for all things Nike in his I AM MORE: OBJ web series along with walking the world through his sneaker closet.
“I’ve been wearing Js since I was little,” Beckham Jr. confesses. “I never really wore anything else but Nike and Jordans…. That’s who I rock with, that’s who I’ve always rocked with. It’s always been about the Swoosh. Swoosh life man, that’s what it is.”
Beckham, the new recipient of a five-year, $29 contract with Nike, walked fans into his Nike stuffed closet full of LeBrons, Jordans, Air Maxes and even the all-red Louis Vuitton Don from Mr. West. The New York Giants wideout also allows onlookers to tag along as he visits Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, offering an inside look at his new cleats and other upcoming projects.

“To be in the same boat as the LeBrons, Serena Williams, and all of these people, there is something special being part of something bigger than yourself.”
Odell, a man on the field but a child at heart, has been a sneakerhead since day one. It’s that very joyful approach that partially defines why he does what he does. “I want to be able to provide for the kids across the world because I remember when I was looking for some cleats to play in during the season… to be able to give this to the world, I’m beyond excited about. I can just see it in little kid form and that’s what it’s about, it’s about being able to give back to them kids so this is truly, truly a blessing.”
