Two years ago, a 23-year-old producer by the name of Hit-Boy stopped by the Nice Kicks Shop during South By Southwest. Since then, the Surf Club alum has become a radio fixture, dropping Watch The Throne?s Eiffel Tower anthem along with critically lauded cuts off Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky?s debut albums.

At this year?s SXSW, the now 25-year-old G.O.O.D. Music signee made the move from behind the boards to front and center, taking the stage as a rapper first and a producer second. While stepping out is nothing new for the humble, young artist, it does require some heavy packing. ?I brought some all-white Balenciaga Arenas, some Air Jordan 4s, two pairs of Air Jordan 1s, and some all-white Air Force 1s,? says Hit-Boy. Not bad for a short stay that saw ciphers with Snoop Lion at the Nice Kicks Shop on Sway in the Morning and a shared bill at Myspace?s Secret Show with Kid Cudi and Diplo.
