While Onitzuka Tiger is unveiling new things in 2010 (see world’s first Tansu Trainer), they will also reach back into the past for a few select items. Onitsuka Tiger will re-introduce its Lay Up 72 model this spring after an almost 40-year hiatus. This Chuck Taylor-like sneaker combines a unique mixture of nylon and vulcanization. it also features a white rubber toe cap, white laceholders, white shoelaces and Onitsuka branding on the tongue, ankle area and heel pad.
