Following the A Ma Maniere x Jordan Airship “Green Stone” colorway, Jordan Brand will also drop a Jordan Airship WMNS in collaboration with French boutique Opium Paris, drawing parallels to the Charlotte Hornets.
The Opium Paris x Jordan Airship WMNS will drop in Summer 2024 and will feature a visually striking colorway comprising icy blue chill and vibrant court purple accents throughout its sail construction. The former hue is spotlighted on the leather eyestays, as well as the hairy suede collar and profile Swooshes, while the latter is featured on the liner, tongue branding, laces, and rubber outsole. Rounding out the final design cues is the sail midsole for a vintage look.
This upcoming offering holds a distinctive place in sneaker history considering Michael Jordan graced the court in the Airship. He, however, is no longer an owner of the NBA team and the connection of Opium Paris and the Hornets is unclear.
Interested fans can expect the Opium Paris x Jordan Airship WMNS releases on June 29, 2024, via OpiumParis.com with a wider release via select retailers and SNKRS Europe on July 6, 2024. in Summer 2024 via SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers. The pair will retail for $150.
