Nike Air Griffey Max GD 2
The 2000’s saw the Kid transition to the Man. A relocation to the Cincinnati Red’s, where his father once played, opened a new chapter for his career. The hometown hero would wear number 30 in honor of Ken Sr. and eventually change numbers to 3 in tribute to his three children. Unfortunately, injuries hampered his production and placed him in a mentor roll as opposed to superstar. His near decade in Cincy saw a plethora of signature shoes that ranged from low-tops to Shox. The Griffey Game Day II is probably the most memorable and will return in retro fashion this summer.
