Make no mistake about it, this year has been great in terms of collaborative sneaker stories. Creativity is at a premium, and the latest joint effort between German-based Overkill and adidas is proof in that claim.
Drawing inspiration from German taxis and the vehicle’s unique color concept, the Overkill x adidas EQT Racer ’93 “Taxi” incorporates a beige nylon upper offset by tonal suede overlays that fuse well with reflective black materials. A taxi sign appears at the tongue while dual branding finds placement at the heel.
The Overkill x adidas EQT Racing ’93 “Taxi” is scheduled to release on October 31 in-store at Overkill. A wider release at adidas retailers will follow on November 6.
