Patta and Reebok are teaming up to deliver a classic collaboration to us with their Club C 85 release. Known for creating iconic collaborations, the Amsterdam based brand now puts their influence to highlight Pan-African roots that exist globally. Adding their own subtle touches, Patta’s Club C 85 is sure to become a classic.
Replacing the Union Jack that the classic 80’s court silhouette is known for, this version features the Pan-African flag instead. White full-grain leather uppers combine with a perforated toe panel & foam tongue to provide timeless comfort & breathability. The typical Reebok branded label is replaced by Patta branding, with the iconic P icon overlayed on the tongue label. A White midsole combines with a cream outsole crisp and white laces to complete the timeless look. Reebok branding can be found on the heel in the same green as the Pan-African flag, similar to Patta’s branding.
One of the highlights of this special collaboration is that it will always be in stock, according to Patta. The shoes are scheduled to drop on December 5th in-store only at Patta stores in Amsterdam, Milan & London. A retail price hasn’t been announced but the brands announced that proceeds will be donated to local organizations. The Black Archives in Amsterdam, The Good Neighborhood Collective in Milan, and the Sistah Space in London are the beneficiaries.
We’re big fans of this collaboration, and it’s sure to set a new standard in availability and unity for the sneaker industry. Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for the latest on this enduring collaboration!
