While it’s been rumored for some time yet unconfirmed by Nike, it looks like Indiana Pacers guard Paul George is the brand’s newest signature athlete.
Currently in Rio for the start of the Olympics, George will soon be the recipient of his own signature shoe – the Nike PG 1.
The shoe previewed first by Sneaker Files, is similar to low-cut Nike Basketball styles George has worn in the past. His PG13 logo appears at the tongue while a midfoot strap is noted across the sleek upper. The shoe is said to retail for $110.
Reports indicate that the Nike PG 1 could release as soon as this month, or possibly September. Stay tuned for more.
